EHH Participates in National Go Red Day

If you were in either facility, Southern Tennessee Medical Center or Emerald-Hodgson Hospital, you might have noticed all the red that the employees and staff were sporting on Friday, February 3, 2012.  With their continued care and concern for their families, friends, and community, the employees signed pledges on Wednesday and Thursday to wear red on Friday to help raise awareness of the importance of heart health.  Even in the work areas where the employees are required to wear specific uniforms, they wore their red dress pins proudly.

STMC and EHH have events scheduled throughout the community during the month of February which is designated as “National Heart Month” to help promote heart health and educate the public on recognizing the risk factors associated with heart disease.  If you would like more information on the upcoming events, please call 931-967-8259.
